Newbie question. Console games not displayed

Hi there!

I'm droping NES, SNES and MD roms but there are not detected or displayed by the frontend. Any clues?

Are the files zipped or not zipped? (The console emulators generally want unzipped)

If you have the automatic scanning at startup disabled did you rescan the console roms? (there's an option in the service menu if you have the auto scanning disabled.

Files are unzipped and in the correct format.

I've tried to scan manually and reinstall arpicade without results.

When you scanned manually did you also combine the arcade and console gamelists? The default list is All Games so it shoul dshow everything.

Do the filenames have any spaces in them? If so try replacing the spaces with underscores.

That's it! If I put names with spaces the system ignores it and does not appear.

sorry that's a limitation of the console roms scan script. My bad, I'll have to try and fix that sometime. Glad you got it working though.
