what is the SD card exactly? It sounds like it may have a spoofed size or something... The two partitions in the image should work, or I would have had someone mention it before...

Had the imaging actually finished when you shut down Pi imager and got that message?

I got this one. Near as I can tell, it finished. the explorer window popped up properly with all the directories on the drive :/.
I'll try it again and see what happens.

OK, I'm not sure what the heck the problem was, but I FINALLY got it to work.

And using the original windisk imgr this time.

only problem now is that the image is overscanned. the top left and lower left is cut almost in half.

There should be adjustment on the monitor chassis for the picture geometry. Hopefullly whatever overscan you have can be easily adjusted out.
