ID this component/ smokey

Hi.

I've been enjoying my old arpicade a lot recently. Tonight, while I was playing a particular game, I noticed the sound was missing. When I powered my supergun down to restart it to see if it made any difference, this component on the board literally went up in smoke.

Can you tell me what it is so I could get it replaced? Hopefully that will fix it? Thanks.

Thats an AN7511 audio amp chip.

Replacing it should see you fixed up but it's also worth having a look at your 12v in case it helped the chip fail.

Hi.

Also, I changed the AN7511 but still no sound. Tried it on both my cab and supergun. Is there anything else I could do to narrow down the problem? Thanks.

Edit:
Based on this picture, does it mean sound should be coming out of the DAC before it gets to the AN7511 amp? So if I plugged in some pc speakers I should be able to hear sound? Is that right? Cos I'm not getting anything from there neither.
